Agricultural technology.
Beets are grown by direct sowing of seeds into the ground in early spring. The seeding depth is not more than 1-2 cm, the row spacing is 45-50 cm. To form large, even root crops, seedlings must be thinned out, leaving 5-8 cm between plants. Further care consists in fertilizing, watering, loosening the soil. To obtain an earlier harvest, it is possible to sow before winter in late October - early November. 1.0 g = 40-60 seeds.
